KEVAL GYAN

There are several points to consider here.

My SPIRITUAL REALIZATION staging –
I have shared with you already some information about it, but you have to ask yourself one question –
How would my spiritual realization staging help you?

Apprehension of traveling on a spiritual path is evident here.
And it is understandable.

The path of spirituality is all about finding YOUR true self, and it is within you.

Your spiritual seeking, of course, started several years back, as you mentioned, but it looks like you are still fumbling, and it’s not a surprise.

There is a reason for that.
The reason is you have made the scriptures your ultimate goal.

This is a common phenomenon in many religions, including Jainism.

Instead of PRACTICING the spiritual messages in their daily lives, the followers of Mahavir ( and other Tirthenkers ) have chosen to raise the scriptures ( and the Tirthenkers themselves ) on a very high pedestal, literally making them Gods.

True Dharma needs to be lived, not just read and discussed.

Religions only give you set of DO’s and DONT’s.

Dharma has to be lived.
Religions are many, Dharma is only one.

Instead of living Dharma, the followers have chosen to worship the scriptures and statues of Tirthenkers.

Instead of going within and finding out the cause of their own kasays ( enemies ) – Maad ( Ego ), Moh ( desire ), krodh ( anger ), and Maya ( illusion ), they have chosen to only worship the great souls who actually did it ( Mahavir, Buddha ).

Why?

Because worshipping is easy, and LIVING Dharma is not.

E.g, Worshipping – anyone can do, but anger very few people can get rid of.

Millions of followers join this trend because they find it easy to do what others are doing – watch them do it and repeat it.

And they think they are doing something big, something important.

Following Mahavir is easy, but BECOMING Mahavir is not.

Becoming a Jain is easy, but becoming Jina is not.

Mahavir himself defied the deep rooted traditions prevalent in his time.
He rebelled against Hinduism, which had become rigged with monotonous rites and rituals, and real Dharma was lost.

And sadly, now his followers are again gripped in the same web.

Scriptures have spoiled many precious human lives, and it is a shame.
By singing the glories of the Tirthenkers, scriptures have created a very far and distant goal in followers’ minds, which they keep chasing for their whole life and never reach there, till they die.

Also, mind well, none of these scriptures were actually written by the great souls themselves – Mahavir or Buddha.

They were busy LIVING dharma.

Scriptures were written by their followers, and followers will write THEIR interpretations of the great soul’s message.
And their interpretations will be based on their own spiritual levels only.

So, the primary and most challenging job for you is to undo the damage done by the religions and the scriptures.

You have to remove the colored glasses of the religion first.
Your quest is praiseworthy, but your mind is clouded.

To reach your inner self, you have to drop any or all the information your mind has acquired from outside since your birth, until now, including religions and scriptures.

Kaivakya is a state where awareness withdraws itself and becomes steady in itself.

All our life, we keep receiving information from the world, utilizing our awareness. ( An unconscious person cannot do that ).

In this process, awareness is the KNOWER, the world is the KNOWN, and connecting both is the process of KNOWING.

Kaivalya is a state where the knower ( awareness ) starts withdrawing and ultimately knows itself.
So, the knower, the known, and the knowing all merge into a single point, wiping off the Sansar like it never existed, – like a dream.

That is the state of Kaivalya.

The meaning of keval Gyan is that only pure Gyan ( knowing ) remains ( without the knower and without the known – just knowing.

Buddha had a better approach to this state actually.

He called it Nirvana (which means – the lamp is burnt out and nothing remains ).

He did that on purpose.

He knew that if any name were given to that state – people would catch the word and start looking for it. ( Just like you are searching for Kaivalya right now ).
If you can grasp this well, understand the joy of such a unique moment, and know that it is not easy to wipe off the whole Sansar, including the concept of time and even yourself, completely.

So, when one reaches the state of Kaivalya, would he really care about knowing everything ( past/present/future ) in 48 minutes, etc.?
And even if he did, what would be using such knowledge for? – just to impress people?

Sansar is important to US, not to him.

Why would he care about transient Sansar when he achieves the permanent immortality?

But there is a reason for posting all this in the scriptures.
It is there to elevate the scriptures so high that young, innocent minds like yours will quickly come under their influence.
And what is the purpose of keeping you in their influence?
So that you become dependent on them to interpret the scriptures and their complex labyrinths, and their position remains secure.
No, there is something significant wrong here.

By giving you the carrot of Kaivalya, they have strengthened their positions as sole agents to help you reach there as if they already have reached there.

So, my advice is – “ BURN ALL THE SCRIPTURES. “
Go within, just like Buddha and Mahavir did.
Kaivalya is not some exotic place where you can reach.

In fact, you give up the notions to reach anywhere ( including Kaivalya ), Kaivalya happens, because it is your true nature and is within you.

Buddha’s last words, “ Appa dipo bhav.” ( be your light ) – he didn’t say let scriptures be your light.

Buddha even had said explicitly before he died, “ do not make my statutes “ and “ do not create any scriptures “ from my teachings, pass on the knowledge verbally, person to person.
And look what we have done to his teachings!!

They are buried under the weight of scriptures and statues, and temples.

So, start a path that suits you well.

Utilize the sculptures only as a guide, not as a goal.

Keep your own inner progress in the forefront, over and above anything else – scriptures or keval Gyan or my spiritual depth.
And who knows, someday, you will write your own scriptures.
Life itself is the biggest scripture ever written, and it is still being written.
The man wrote all scriptures.

Scripture of LIFE is being written by Godliness – as LIVE STREAM – and it is within you too.

You can’t go deeper into someone else’s mind, so your own mind is your best bet.
