Sansar is the physical world we are all in, including our bodies.
Sanskaras are the impressions of this world left on our psyche, including a fixed image of our body onto our minds.
But not just the impressions are Sanskaras, but also how we perceive them, how we desire them, how we believe them to be real- everything is Sanskaras.
Calling yourself a Hindu or Muslim, calling yourself a doctor or an engineer, all are Sanskaras.
And at the same time, your likes, dislikes, hatred, greed, desires that arise in you from them, all are Sanskaras.
Why?
Because they are interconnected.
Sanskaras cannot happen without the Sansar.
Anything that finds its origin from outside and leaves a long-lasting impression on us- all that is Sanskaras.
