How is everyone taking the natural disaster on the Nepal-China border?

I am sad for those whose family is missing. A friend of mine from Long Island is also missing. I am praying for her and her family.
It’s nature and natural calamities. There is no explanation or logic to it. Human-created events are wiping out animal populations as we speak.
It also gives us a palpable sense of our frailty and the impermanence of things, including our own body and all the relations and associations arising from it.
This is the moment.
This is the most pregnant moment that has happened at the crossroads of our lives.
One who is crying now will be laughing someday; he is in Sansar; he is not going anywhere.
His origin, his journey, and his destination are Sansar.
One whose logic has been defied will set out on a new journey, beyond the mind.
One who is appalled at the magnitude of nature’s prakop (wrath), and sees the futility of his own Ego, will set out in the search for the infinite.
One who is in Bliss doesn’t move an inch; his journey, his Ego, has ended in the Infinite.
Now, every moment is a creation and every moment, a destruction.
Every moment is sacred, and every moment is a divine gift of the Almighty.
Every moment is Him.
