Who am I?
We always say, my body, my mind, my experiences, my anger, etc, but never question who that “my” is.
That “I am” ness is only a belief conjured up by the mind; there is no “I”.
The “I” that you believe in requires something to hold onto – my house, money, spouse, children, body, etc.
Mind works very hard, all our life to do just that – more money, more fame, more friends, more this and more that, all that so that “I” can survive.
Even when we say “my mind”, who is saying that?
There is nobody.
The mind itself is saying that, out of its made-up theory, self-made sovereignty controls your life and does not allow you to go beyond itself.
It is like a ferocious goalie who just does not let your ball of awareness cross the goal line.
It keeps guarding you, so that it itself can survive.
That’s our cunning mind.
What will happen if you start doubting your mind and tell it to step aside?
It will give you a hard time at the beginning, but with proper persistence and perseverance, you will be able to do it.
Straight goal into the pure consciousness.
There is no “I” ness anywhere.
Existence is equal for all, from human beings to an earthworm or even a grain of sand; they all exist.
To establish an “I” -ness is against the laws of existence.
And that’s the crux of spirituality; dissolve the “I” which is the goalie ( the mind ) that’s not allowing you to score, and win the game.
