Today's wisdom.

Today’s wisdom.

Anger or Elation, both are false, transient deviations from the truth.

Existence is the truth, because everyone returns to it.

Ego feeds on transient objects, people, and situations ( thinking that they are permanent ).

Ego dislikes, Ego gets angry.
Ego likes, Ego gets elated.

( Both states are temporary ).

But meanwhile –

Anger (the unhappy Ego) makes you say or do things you may not usually say or do.

The elated state (the happy ego) makes promises to others, never realizing that the future is never in its control.

What’s the solution?

How can we avoid such pitfalls in life?

Exposure to the consciousness, which is always in a state of sthitpragnya.

In its company, it develops the wisdom (the ability to discriminate right from wrong), which makes us realize the transient nature and futility of anger or the elated state (and their consequences).
Anger and elation are both dependent; they are dependent on life events.

That means life events are higher than the Ego; the Ego will never accept that, of course.

Life events are dependent on the time at which they occur.

Time cannot exist without matter.

This whole dependence business is Sansar.

Only existence is independent of everything and everyone.

And it is here, right now.

Only the existence is in the sthitpragnya state—it is independent and free.

All we have to do is realize the futility of the Ego.
