The Sansar is a Duality

The whole Sansar is one big duality. It was born in duality, and it lives in duality.

Innate desire is the engine of evolution, and desire always plays in duality. “I want this- the “I” is taken as a given fact, and then an object is desired.”

Even our two eyes, which are a part of evolution, see two separate images, and the brain has to merge them and create a single image from them.

The body’s symmetry is also based on duality.

The ultimate truth, though, is non-duality from which the whole duality emerged.

If we stay as we are and keep looking at the world with our eyes, there is no way to escape this world of duality.

That’s where spirituality helps, by opening up the third eye, the eye of awareness, the inner eye.

Awareness is transcendental; it transcends the whole juggernaut of mind-body-sansar.

Mind divides because it accepts the body as the ultimate truth.

For the mind, there is both an inside and an outside of the body.

The eye of awareness is all-pervasive (like X-rays, which disregard the physical boundary of our skin and “see” inside).

Awareness is aware of what is happening inside your body (hunger, thirst, abdominal pain, etc.) and also outside your body (a bird flying or the sun shining).

That’s because awareness is infinite and it incorporates everything.

Since awareness obviates the boundaries, it delivers a single non-dualistic vision.

The eye of awareness is within us, only a step behind the eyes that see the world.

How do we find it?

Just by being aware of what eyes see, what ears hear, what tongue tastes, what skin touches, and what nose smells.

Behind all our dualistic experiences lies the eye of awareness, and that gives you a new vision with which to see the world.

Anytime anyone tries to argue against non-duality, only one answer is sufficient for them: “You are enlightened already; all you have to do is open your third eye and see for yourself.”
