The ego is only a Mask.

Our Ego is a byproduct of our mutual interactions within the Sansar.

But it is only a mask we all wear; beneath it lies our true self.

The word personality itself comes from the Greek word PERSONA, meaning the masks actors wore on stage to portray their individual roles.

The masks were necessary for authenticity in their corresponding roles.

But we have taken our masks (Egos) too seriously and forgotten what lies beneath them.

The path of spirituality is to denounce everything ( path of neti neti) that comes from outside, and only then will the flame of the authentic self from within.

The ego is only a belief, not the truth.

When the cloud of Ego drifts away, the sun of truth emerges.
