Subject-Object is Maya

Only in a state of calm arises the realization that the dualistic dance of subject and object is Maya, an illusory, ever-fleeting appearance.

A deeper contemplation also reveals that this duality is not lopsided; it is evenly balanced between the object and the subject (your false self); one cannot exist without the other.

Knowing this makes all the actions of the world (interactions between subjects and objects) also illusory, leaving only pure consciousness as THE ONLY TRUTH, in which the Maya keeps dancing.

KNOW that you are the witnessing consciousness, watching the movie called Sansar.

The power of witnessing transforms you, and witnessing is only witnessing, not an action.

Witnessing requires a lot of patience for our action-packed minds to realize it.

Witnessing does not have to be limited to meditation; practice it during the day as well.

During sleep, we go from a dream state to a deep sleep state every night, but we are asleep.

Witnessing Sansar while awake, and not letting it touch you, is like watching a dream and knowing it is a dream.

Consciousness is everything.

A subject is a subject only when it is conscious; otherwise, it becomes an object.

As soon as life ends, what was once a person becomes an object (a dead body) and needs to be cared for.

A collection of objects can’t make an interactive Sansar unless it is infused with consciousness.

And consciousness does its charm because of its capacity to know – knowing (chit).

The difference between ignorance and knowledge is only knowing.

Knowing suddenly transforms a stranger into your long-lost friend, whom you had forgotten.

Similarly, knowing the true self transforms an ignorant person into an enlightened one.

When that happens, the objective perceptions, emotions, hopes, desires, all the events of Sansar, etc., become impurities, and pure awareness surfaces; duality is gone and non-duality surfaces.
