Reaching Samadhi State
Realize this: making an effort to “reach” Samadhi itself keeps one from it.
Every effort is mind-driven, and the mind is the cloud covering the Sun of Samadhi.
When all efforts fade away, one harmonizes with life, no goals remain (including one of finding Samdhi), and that’s when the mind rests, and Samdhi surfaces, a state of peace and tranquility.
Stop all the analyses – of others or of the self.
Analysis is the intellectual aspect of the mind, and even though it may sound very logical, it is just another sham created by the mind promising to deliver the Samadhi state to you; it can never do that.
The Samadhi state is simple, soft, and pure, but the mind is a clever thug; the two will never meet.
Be simple, be pure, and in this state arises a respect for the harmony of life all around; thoughts are coming and going, sun and moon keep taking turns, breaths keep coming in and going out, heart keeps beating, birds chirping, air keeps moving, all happening spontaneously, without anyone doing it.
There is no doer, there is just a rhythmic play happening in the profound silence of life, and a subtle joy of life surfaces.
The whole universe is a spontaneous rhythm; there is no doer, so the only way to feel the pulse of life is to synchronize with it, be a non-doer.
Ever-present Samdhi state only requires realization, not efforts, and that’s why non-Doership wins over efforts.
