Open Eye Meditation

Open Eye Meditation

When you sit quietly with your eyes fully open, watching the outer world come and play in your inner world, unobstructed; receiving every ray of sunlight and realizing its warmth, enjoying every birdcall and every breath; filled with gratitude and immersed in the totality of divine existence; and mind has become redundant.

You have really lived that moment.

You don’t need man-created temples.

The whole world and every moment is a temple.

Divinity is not in the books, not on the mountains, not in the temples and not in the churches, not even in religious celebrations.

Those are just ways to pass time, keep your minds occupied, and make you believe that you are doing something great.

Divinity is everywhere, and in every moment (kan kan mein, aur kahan kshan mein Bhagwan hei).

The divine is within you, hidden behind your mind, your beliefs, your vrttis and vasanas.

Facing your mind and winning it over is the toughest thing to do in life.

O mighty-armed son of Kunti, it is undoubtedly very difficult to curb the restless mind, but it is possible by constant practice and by detachment.” — [Bhagavad Gita 6.35]

Meditation is the way. Know your mind and you’ll know God.
