Meditation as per Buddha

Meditation as per Buddha

Fools are the ones who think that circling a Bodhivraksha will take them to Nirvana, when the tree that needs to be raised is within.

When everything is meaningless, everything that can be described is relegated; what remains is meaningful – the pure, indefinable, and yet undeniable existence.

When you realize it, worship it, not in words but in silence; that is its language.

If meditation alone could put you in a Samadhi state, millions of sadhaks would already be there.

The trick lies in not just meditating, but also applying its lessons in your daily life.

Ultimately, your actions are the proof.

And what does it mean by “ your actions”?

Not the actions done to prove something to others, show off something to others, that “I did this” or “ I am doing this” ( Temples and churches are filled with such crowds of millions ).

Such actions, you are only doing them for the Sansar; you are still in Sansar ( a herd of sheep ), following each other.

When actions arise from your inner realizations (in the presence of consciousness), they are truly your actions.

Such actions would have the strength and courage of the consciousness, even though they may differ from Sansar’s prevalent views. (Examples – Mahavira, Buddha, who revolutionized the religious scene of India solely with their inner strength).

This strengthens your inner, true self, the source of ultimate freedom—freedom from your mind.

“Harino marag chhe shurano, kayar noo nahi kaam.”

( Path of God is only for the brave, not for the cowards. )
