How to Deal With The Thoughts.

 

Thoughts certainly are not your friends.

But the opposite is not true.

They are not your enemies, either.

Again, by calling them your enemies, you become caught up in the game of duality, good versus bad.

The best way is to neglect them.

But it’s not easy.

The best way to neglect them is to make a new friend – the inner silence of Shunyata.

Silence is a good friend in whose company you will learn a lot.

You will be happier and more peaceful, and it will take away your sufferings.

Staying silent is like staying in good company, where only good things happen.

Bad company ( the thoughts ) slowly withers away.

Throughout the day, whenever possible, practice silence; make it come alive in yourself, and gradually, it will start showing its magic.

Doing a silent hike, or a silent walk, encouraging your spouse or kids in practicing silence together, etc.
