How to deal with Duality in Meditation...

How to deal with Duality in Meditation…

Meditation makes you aware of two states: thoughts and thoughtlessness.

Thoughts represent sansar, and thoughtlessness, the absence of it.

It is still a duality, and as long as duality stays, eternal peace will evade you.

The path to Advait is a path to non-duality.

Wherever there is duality, there will be restlessness.

How do you resolve this duality?

One needs to go deep enough to palpate this restlessness ( be aware of it ).

Restlessness is a suffering, and for every suffering there is a solution from Godliness, so long as you are aware of it.

If you neglect this restlessness, eternal peace is not for you.

A patient can be cured of his illness only if he seeks medical attention.

So, when you have spiritual restlessness, where do you go?

To the temple of awareness.

Being aware of your restlessness ends it.

When you become aware of both states (thoughts and thoughtlessness), it means awareness is higher than both.

Both the states originate in awareness, just as your arms, right or left, are yours.

Thoughts represent our life, and a thoughtless state, our death.

Usually, we choose life and hate death. ( and that’s why we keep thinking, to stay connected with life, and hate silence, we are afraid of it ).

But deep meditation shows that thoughts (life) and the thoughtless state (death) are both components of the same awareness; one manifest and one unmanifest.

Awareness is the total life, made of manifest ( life ) and unmanifest ( death ), both, and both are necessary to define each other, just the way day and night are interdependent.

The awareness in its Advait state is ONE, the life-giving life, that “gives” life and takes it away too ( death ), but itself is eternal.

This is Godliness, the origin of us all.

It is Amritdharma. (eternal ).

This brings your restlessness to an end and brings eternal solace, comfort, and contentment to your life.
