Going from Duality to Advait.
Step 1. The world is dual, and we recreate this duality in our psyche, as a dualistic reflection also.
( For example, if you see a bird flying outside, close your eyes, and it is still flying in your mind.)
Step 2. Now, the duality of Sansar is playing in our minds, like a movie on a screen.
Step 3. The movie is always based on duality; a hero, heroine, villain, etc, are all separate. Without duality, a movie cannot play. Without duality, Sansar cannot exist.
Stage 4. Movies ( duality ) always keep on playing, one after another, on a screen.
Stage 5. But… What about the screen?
The Screen is non-dual. There is no duality in the screen itself; it’s one plain screen, without divisions, but the movie makes it appear divided.
Similarly…
Stage 6. Our psyche (the non-dual consciousness) is the screen for all our dualistic experiences (Samsara). It is non-dual, and yet it seems divided.
Stage 7. Realize this in meditation that anything that moves ( Sansar ) is just a transient image ( and not real ), including your body and mind.
The non-dual Consciousness is the only reality; the apparent duality of the Sansar is only an illusion created by modifying the consciousness (just the way we “Create” duality every night in our dreams from our mental energy).
Be ONE with this non-dual pure consciousness and surrender yourself in the lap of this Advait.
In this pure consciousness, love, compassion, and peace arise, all unconditional.
So, in the awake state –
We create an illusory duality of Sansar.
In dream state –
We create an illusory duality of dreams.
In a deep sleep state –
We become non-dual, but we are not awake or aware.
So, meditation is reaching the deep sleep non-dual state in full awareness.
