Dhyan
If YOU are happy, YOU are lost; if YOU are unhappy, YOU are lost as well.
These emotions do not belong to anyone. They are only products of various Sansaric interactions. That’s all.
Stop calling them “yours”; how can you “own” emotions?
Just remain aware, which is what you are.
When you are only aware of the happiness and the unhappiness happening in front of you, you are there, right in the middle, only peacefully aware of the dance of life.
The ego assigns labels to various life situations, dividing life and making you chase happiness and flee from unhappiness.
Forget the world, be aware of what YOU are doing.
Are you labeling?
If yes, then you are wasting your precious time in life.
Stop labeling, stop judging the world; start with yourself first.
Nobody has ever been able to “clean” this world; clean yourself first.
Happiness you attribute to the outside world.
Unhappiness, you also attribute to the outside world.
What is yours?
In between happiness and unhappiness lies a very thin line of contentment, and THAT is yours.
And that contentment is DHYAN.
Do not meditate to gain something.
The reward of meditation is meditation itself.
The reward of Dhyana is Dhyana itself.
You just have to grasp its value enough.
Understanding this value becomes a life-changer.
