Changing Others

Changing Others

There is one universal disease we all suffer from: trying to change others.

The disease is ours, and the solution for it is also within us.

Trying to change others arises from our inner mental restlessness.

Inner mental restlessness arises from non-acceptance of the world as it is.

The non-acceptance of the world arises from our mind, filled with fixed ideologies, concepts, beliefs, and convictions (Ego), which rejects the present and creates a desire to change it.

Our mind (Ego) thrives on borrowed knowledge, concepts, and beliefs.

And mind arises due to our disconnect from our true selves.

The true self is the destroyer of the restlessness of the mind, leading to a state of – sukha, restfulness ( contentment ) ( our natural state ).

In this restfulness, a new vision arises that can see the beauty and completeness of the world.
