What is the meaning of nimitt?

Nimitt is, as we always say, “ we are Nimitt matra” – just an incidental presence in a vast scheme of things; we happen to be there.
It comes from the Sanskrit word nimish (blink of an eye).
Spiritual meaning is something so small that we cannot measure.
Nih – not
Mish – measurable
Nimish is another name for Lord Vishnu.
We can measure time down to the microseconds.
We can also count objects, down to the smallest particles.
( Utilizing our minds ).
But Nimish is beyond both. ( Beyond Ego ).
That means we have almost an insignificant presence; we happen to be at a particular time in one specific place, created by something unfathomable, incidentally,
Only by realizing ourselves to be a nimitt, do we rise to the vast higher existence, and recognize the presence of the divine, everywhere, all the time.
