Everything is Just a Happening

The whole universe is in a state of happening because there is no doer.

There is this consciousness, but there is nothing to be conscious of in particular, as everything is consciousness only, as the consciousness is infinite.

(It’s like looking at your finger and realizing it to be only a part of you.)

Consciousness is aware of what appears conscious, as well as of whatever seems unconscious.

Just the way our living limbs as well as dead nails are part of our body, so are the conscious (living beings) as well as unconscious (material objects), all a part of the total consciousness.

So, since there is no doer, there is no creator, no maintainer, and no destroyer of the universe.

The universe is only a happening.

At a grand level, everything is just happening, and yet nothing is happening, because it is all consciousness.

The universe happened or dissolved; it all happened only within the consciousness.

Whether you make a bangle of gold or melt it back into raw gold again, nothing really happened; a form happened and then dissolved; gold remained gold.

Waves arise from the ocean, and yet, they remain ocean; their inherent nature never changes.

In the highest truth of the totality of consciousness, a truth is a truth, and at the same time, an untruth is also a truth, only with a veil of untruth. (A wave is still an ocean, a bangle is still gold).

One who realizes this infinite nature of consciousness within sees transformation in his life, and yet, nothing really happened on a grand scale.

So, enlightenment is not anybody’s “achievement”; it is just a realization that there never was anybody; he always was the consciousness supreme; he just wasn’t aware of it.

We always are God, before or after this realization.
