Consciousness Vs The Mind
Peace is the nature of existence, and restlessness is the nature of the mind.
Existence is the steady air, and desire is the wind going to places.
Wind cannot happen without air, but air can exist without the wind.
The mind always justifies its motions by creating goal after goal.
But there is nowhere to go in this serene ocean of infinite existence; there is no motion; motion is an illusion of our mind.
It’s like swimming in a bathtub; you may feel that you are going somewhere, but you are not.
Our motions, physical or mental, occur in a fixed, four-dimensional, structured world.
But the infinite existence is homogeneous, has no dimensions, and cannot be divided.
How does a water droplet journey in an ocean? The droplet is also an ocean.
How do you make a flower of space? A flower is also space.
The ocean is invisible, and so is the space.
Yet, by believing in ourselves as a separate self, “I”, we have divided what is indivisible.
And out of this ignorance, we have generated desires, likes, and dislikes, and have been running ever since.
Realize the futility of running, the illusion of the “I” which divides, and the truth of the indivisible ocean of existence by meditating, and live a life of peace.
\Don’t condemn, criticize, or judge anyone or anything (it’s not your job).
Don’t get impressed by anything or anyone (no one is higher than existence itself, and it is within everyone).
Don’t try to improvise anything or anyone, or give unasked advice (your intelligence is like a tiny lamp against the sun of cosmic intelligence, which manifests everywhere but in silence).
Don’t desire anything or anyone (you already are complete).
And realize the amazing silence arising from within; silence is all supreme.
With practice, you will start falling in love with this silence, which only you will know but cannot share with anyone.
