Doubt Your Mind

Doubt Your Mind

The mind doubts everything; we never doubt the mind.

-Osho

Doubting the mind opens up a small crack, eventually, leading us into the space of the mindlessness (shunya state), and it is priceless.

The mind has a habit of making you live in an imaginary world of past and future, but never in the present.

And both are unreal.

This imaginary world can sometimes take you to a grotesque, convoluted, and even outright ridiculous place.

And yet, we keep believing in it because the mind is so mesmerizing and powerful.

And why is the mind so powerful?

Because we believe in it.

Our belief is its strength.

Once our belief gets established in the thoughtless silence, the mind evaporates.

And for that you need meditation.

Does anyone see anything wrong with this sentence?

“Once our belief gets established in the thoughtless silence, the mind evaporates.”

Belief is still a mind. “Believing in silence” is an oxymoron.

Silence means no mind; then the question of belief does not arise.

So, instead of believing in silence, what is the alternative?

KNOWING the silence.

(Don’t believe, know).

Whole world is swirling around on the path of belief only; rare are the people who follow the path of knowing.
