I AM

I AM

One of the most profound paths to self-realization is AMNESS (I AM) by Raman Maharishi.

We go through many experiences in life, and those experiences make us run: run towards the ones we want to repeat and run away from the ones we don’t.

But there is one experience we always remain oblivious to, the experience of AMNESS – I AM.

It sounds simple, and is simple too, but it remains buried under the burden of our constantly running mind, and we fail to recognize it.

When you are quiet and at peace, become aware of your existence. I exist. I am.

To do that, you don’t need any scriptures or guidance from others.

Silently palpate your existence – I AM.

Let the AMNESS be your only experience.

With practice, you will start immersing in the AMNESS.

In this immersiveness, you will realize the transientness of everything else, the body, the mind, and the whole of the Sansar.

In quiet moments, existence becomes a perpetual truth, and everything else a temporary, or a relative truth (a dream)( a story).

The mind was divisive, a creator of duality, but existence has no form; it is infinite and indivisible.

Deepen this experience further, and you will realize that, even without the mind that made you aware of the world, the awareness still exists without it.

It is aware of the existence, and at the same time, awareness exists.

Are they two separate entities?

No.

There is only one entity of Sat(existence), and Chitta(awareness), and deeply hidden is Anand (joy)(absence of suffering).

Practice this in daily life, and see it transform.

Staying in pure AMNESS lets you rise above and away from your mind, and the mind is a storehouse of all the ills of your life – discrimination, complexes- superior and inferior, identification with religions, possessions, emotional involvements with others, etc.

AMNESS pulls you out of it all; it just needs practice.

Walking away from the mind also relieves you from memories of the past and the anxieties and fears of the future, leaving you in the serenity of AMNESS
