Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love is the most powerful gift given to us by the divine.

In the rigamarole of this busy world, we have forgotten it, and loss is only ours.

Unconditionality is an inner state in which you live; it has nothing to do with who deserves it or not. (In that case, it will become conditional).

A tree blooms with fragrant flowers, irrespective of who smells them or whether anyone does or not.

That’s why I said, unconditional love is a gift, you don’t “own” it, and you can choose who to give it to.

When it arises only when the Ego has dropped.

When there is no Ego, who decides?

Both cannot exist, Ego or the divine.

Prem gali ati sankari, tamein dou na samai
Jab mein tha tab hari nahi, ab hari hai mein naahi
प्रेम गली अति संकरी, तामें दाऊ न समाई |
जब में था तब हरी नहीं, अब हरी है में नाहीं ||
The street of love is very narrow; two can’t pass through it at the same time
When I was there, there was no God(hari), now there is God, but I am not
MEANING
To attain true love, one has to give up one’s ego. When the ego disappears, God appears.

A mother has two children, one normal and one handicapped.

Who do you think she will love more?

She, of course, loves both, but she will lean a little more towards the disabled child.

She knows that the “normal” child will somehow manage to get love from Sansar, but the disabled child may not.

She has inexhaustible love when it comes to her children, because the love she has is a gift of the divine, the infinite.

One of the tenets of the samadhi state is to be a parent to the world.

Love everyone, but love the ones you used to hate,
more because they need more (being spiritually handicapped).
