“I” is a fantasy
The mind is a camera, capturing images of our environment.
Everything we encounter—objects, people, and situations—is stored in the mind as thoughts, which are its primary means of understanding.
Each experience manifests as a thought, including the perception that “I am this body.”
The mind holds onto these images—thoughts and beliefs—and weaves them into its own story.
And the story is a story, not a reality.
The central image around which the mind revolves is that of our body.
By isolating this image, the mind designates the label “I” to it, just like a movie script revolves around a hero.
Once the initial concept of “I” takes shape, the mind begins to draw connections with other images, constructing a cohesive story that reinforces this foundational belief.
In this way, the mind builds its own castle of perceptions, confining us within a fabricated world of imagination throughout our lives.
This phenomenon is universal; each individual creates and resides in their own personal story.
Due to the entanglement and a total waste of time with this imagined story, we never get a chance to explore the truth, the consciousness.
“I” is a fantasy, and so “You” is also a fantasy.
This also makes duality a fantasy, and non-duality the only unchangeable truth.
When we say “I am this body”, we never realize what we are saying.
If “I” am this body, what would “I” be when there is no body? (And it will happen someday).
“AM” is the most important word in the sentence.
Amness, existence is what you are, and not the body.
The body is not that valuable; it comes and goes.
Existence is valuable; you will be that all the time, with body or without.
Don’t waste time on “I” and its stories, be one with the “AMNESS”, the formless screen on which the movie of “I” has been playing.
Enough of imagination, find the truth, and be ONE with it.
