Mind Vs Soul
Mind knows only one language – the language of thoughts, and all its variations – beliefs, concepts, convictions, ideas, emotions, everything.
Soul knows only one language – the language of truth.
Mind deals with fantasies and stories, soul deals with reality.
Mind is a juggernaut standing on one central concept: “I.”
Remove “i” from the word “mind,” and it becomes only a jumbled-up collection of letters – m, n, d, with no significant meaning, and it collapses.
If you really go deep and try to find “I” in the mind, you will realize that there is none.
“I” has a ln utilitarian value in Sansar, but it is not the truth.
Sansar is like a chess game played with various pieces – queen, king, rook, bishop, knight, pawns, etc., but that’s all make-believe…The mind can only live in the past.
Even the belief of “I” goes back to the day you were born, and you say, “I was born.”
Mind is nothing but a computer holding tons of memory, using it as needed, “I” being one of those memories.
Every time you say “I”, you are dwelling in the past.
Let go of that habit (all habits, fall into the past).
Then what surfaces is pure consciousness, which does not have a memory; it lives in the present; it is with you all the time.
But you never realize that, because you are involved in the “I”.
Mind will never live in the present; it doesn’t know how to.
Nomindness is the present.
Mind fantasizes the present.
Fantasy of the present is a fantasy, not the present.
Stop all the efforts of any kind; the present will surface by itself, but it won’t if you look for it to surface.
