Role of compassion and universal love on the spiritual path.

Unconditional love and compassion are not tools that one can use to transform oneself and the world.
Do not fall into that trap.
They are spontaneously arising jewels arising from within.
When one has learned the art of walking away from the mind(thoughts), one is gifted with the shunya state (absence of everything, especially “I” ness – Ego).
In this shunya state, compassion and universal love arise.
There is a reason for it, though.
When thoughts are transcended, you have to realize that each thought is an energy spent.
When one becomes thoughtless, all that energy is conserved, and a reservoir is built within.
But energy is never steady; it needs to flow.
So that energy was directed into the Ego, but now that outlet is gone, it transforms into compassion and universal love, and in this state, it brings goodness to the world.
So, one can say that compassion is almost a necessity, a channel for the expression of accumulated spiritual energy.
And compassion can find infinite ways to express, no one can predict.
Priyanka’s post is immensely valuable.
It reflects an inner state of a sadhak who has gone through a tormenting spiritual journey to ultimately arrive at the vast, infinite kingdom of the shunya state.
When he finally reaches and gets accepted, he realizes that all his faults (fractures) are forgiven.
How does he know that?
Because the light of divinity filters through him, despite those fractures.
Normally, we judge ourselves and put ourselves down because of our mistakes and weaknesses.
And yet, the divinity accepts us unconditionally.
That’s when we get the ultimate real proof of His compassion.
We melt, we become ONE with Him, and that’s when true compassion for all arises in us.
As I said, compassion is not simply a cheap tool we think we can wave like a magic wand and have it start flowing from us; it has to arise from within; it is His gift.
