Power of the Mind
The mind doubts everyone, but we never doubt the mind.
We have taken the Ego as the ultimate truth.
Just give it a try, start doubting your mind, which has done nothing but create a complex web of ownerships, emotions, beliefs, concepts,
incessant thinking, etc, none of which are real.
This has not done anything for you so far except give you mental fatigue, due to your bondage to everything and everyone.
Start a habit of discounting the mind – “Maybe it is wrong.” “ Maybe there is no ‘I”.
Start neglecting and doubting your Ego, and a peace will begin to descend into your psyche.
If someone calls you inferior, you will neglect their statement by knowing that awareness is the only truth, and in its “eyes”, all the manifestations are different from each other, and not superior or inferior.
A rose is a rose, and a chameli ( a fragrant tropical flower ), is a Chameli; why does one have to be superior or inferior to the other?
If everyone is different, what’s the point in comparing?
Reverse, for feeling superior to others; who is superior, who is inferior? We are all equal in our differences.
“Being different” is an attribute, not a deficiency.
Every time the Ego raises its head, nip it in the bud, and keep staying with peaceful awareness, which does not know any divisions.
Every time a desire arises, realize that you are on the path of duality, which does not get you anywhere but invites suffering.
If you desire something from the Sansar, there are only two possible scenarios l: you may get what you want, or you may not get what you want, and automatically, you enter into a field of duality.
If you never had a desire, duality would never arise, and peace would always prevail in you.
Dropping the Ego ( which we have become addicted to ) is difficult, but not impossible.
